BILLING QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Do I have to pay my co-payment at the time of registration?
You are required to pay your co-pay at the time of service. You may be billed your deductibles, co-insurance, and any non-covered services after we receive notification from your insurance company.

Will my insurance company cover my visits?
Medical insurance coverage varies with each insurance company. Generally, it may not be clear if a particular service will be covered. Medically necessary and appropriate services may not always be part of your covered services by your insurance plan. Please refer to your insurance company's member handbook and check with your employer or call your insurance company with questions.

When will I receive a bill?
If your insurance information was verified prior to your visit, you may not receive a bill until: Your insurance company has denied the claim; Your insurance company has paid the claim, leaving a co-insurance, deductible, or non-covered service; or Your insurance company has not responded to the claim.

When do I become responsible for my bill?
All patient account balances are due and payable upon receipt of your first statement. However, payment may be required at the time of service from any patient who has an existing overdue account. Payment of your bill is ultimately the patient's responsibility.

Is there someone I can talk with about my bill?
If you have any questions about your bill, please don't hesitate to contact our office at 936-465-9075 or toll free 800-875-1532.
